About this platteville gift
Platteville is a small city in southwest Wisconsin, and the people who live there tend to stay put or come back. A Platteville shirt is for the local who's proud of a town that's small enough to know your name at the hardware store, and for the alum or former resident who still counts it as home. Because the city isn't a big tourist name, a Platteville design often ends up as a conversation starter: someone asks where it's from and gets a story. It also suits the family who has roots there, a grandparent's hometown or a spot a family keeps returning to. For gifts, a hoodie makes a good cold-weather pick since it's built for the winters the region is known for, and a mug is the easy daily reminder for someone who misses it. Add a second line with a street, a school or a year they lived there to make it feel like theirs.
