About this pottery gift
Potters live with clay under their fingernails and a shelf of wonky first attempts they refuse to throw out. If you're buying for one, you already know the hobby takes over a corner of the house, whether that's a garage wheel, a community studio membership, or a Saturday class they never miss. The best gifts for them are the things they can wear to the studio without worrying. A tee or hoodie that's about to get splattered with slip is a compliment, not a risk. Add a name, a studio name, or a line like Wheel Thrown, Hand Built or Kiln Whisperer, and it reads as theirs rather than a generic pottery shirt. Mugs are the natural fit, since so many potters drink out of something they made themselves and love hearing that someone else gets the joke. For a ceramics class or a pottery night with friends, you can order one design for everyone in the group.
All pottery gifts →- A studio tee that can take a splashA pottery tee with their name or studio on the second line is made for wheel days, glaze Saturdays and the apron-optional crowd.
- A hoodie for cold studio morningsMany studios run chilly, especially with the kiln off. A pottery hoodie with their name or a favorite technique on it is something they'll reach for all winter.
- A mug for the potter who has everythingAn 11 oz mug with Pottery and their name sits well next to the handmade ones on their shelf, and it's the one thing they didn't have to throw themselves.
- Matching shirts for a class or pottery nightPick one design in the Team Shop and paste in the names from the class, the studio crew or the girls' night group. Everyone gets their own size.
