About this rahway gift
Rahway is a small city in Union County, New Jersey, and the people who grew up there tend to stay attached to it, whether they still live a few blocks from the train station or ended up across the country. A Rahway shirt is how they say where they're from without a long explanation. For a former resident who moved away, a mug or hoodie with the city name is a comfortable way to remember home on a cold morning. For someone still living there, a shirt is a local marker they'll wear around town, to school events or at the park. Adding a neighborhood, a street or a graduating class year in the second line makes it theirs. If you're not sure about the specifics of their connection to the city, the simplest move is to keep the design to the city name and let them add meaning themselves.
