About this refrigeration supervisor gift
A refrigeration supervisor is the person who gets the call at two in the morning when the walk-in cooler starts climbing past safe temperatures, and who stays until the product is saved or written off. They run crews through compressor repairs, ammonia and freon systems, defrost cycles and the inspection paperwork that comes with keeping food, medicine and cold storage operating on schedule. Gifts that land for this person usually acknowledge that the job is mostly problem-solving under pressure, and that they carry a lot of responsibility for other people's work. A tee or hoodie with their exact title is a nice way to recognize that, especially when a coworker or family member hasn't quite known how to describe what they do. Add a second line with their crew, site or the year they took the role, and the shirt becomes specific to their career rather than a generic work shirt.
