About this renton gift
Renton is a city of about a hundred thousand people south of Seattle, on the shore of Lake Washington, and the people who call it home tend to be proud of it in a low-key way. They're commuters, Boeing families, folks who grew up around the lake and never felt the need to explain where they're from. A Renton shirt fits that. It's the thing you wear to the farmers market, on a Saturday at the lake, or on a trip where you have to explain that it's not the other Renton. Lean on the local details they already know: the Cedar River, the lake, the Seattle commute, or their own neighborhood. Put the city on the front and a second line underneath for their street, their school or the year they moved in, and it becomes personal. For someone who has moved away, a Renton mug on the counter is a daily reminder of home. Kids' tees and onesies work for families raising the next generation of Renton kids.
