Yellow Dot Rosendale mug

About this rosendale gift

Rosendale is a small village in Ulster County, New York, along the Rondout Creek and the old Delaware and Hudson canal towpath. People who grew up there or moved back often describe it as a place where the main street still matters, the rail trail runs past the old cement works, and everyone seems to know everyone's dog. A Rosendale shirt is a way to say where you're from without a long explanation. For someone who's moved away, a mug with the village name on it is a daily reminder of home. For a local, a hoodie is the layer they'll grab on the first cold morning by the creek. To make it theirs, use the second line for a year they arrived, a street, or a nickname the village uses for itself, and the design stops being a town souvenir and becomes their own.
