About this saunemin gift
Saunemin is a small village in Livingston County, Illinois, and the people who grew up there tend to carry it with them for life. A shirt with the village name is how they say where they're from when a stranger asks, or how a former resident tells the rest of the family that the reunion is happening in town this year. Small places like this run on people who know each other, so a gift that names the village lands in a way a generic souvenir never does. Type Saunemin on the front and add a second line for a family name, a class year or the year they moved away, and the shirt becomes theirs. For someone living far from home, a mug with the village name is a small daily reminder, and a hoodie works well for the cold months when they're missing the place they came from.
