About this school cook gift
School cooks start before the kids are awake, working in cramped kitchens to get hundreds of breakfasts and lunches out on a tight schedule, and most of the thanks they get comes from a line of students and a few teachers who notice. A gift that acknowledges that work lands well. A tee for the drive in before sunrise, a hoodie for the chilly walk-in cooler, or a mug that's clearly theirs so it stops disappearing into the staff room. What makes it feel personal is putting their name on it, or the school or district they cook for. If you're buying for the whole kitchen crew, the Team Shop lets you pick one design and paste each person's name, so everyone gets their own shirt. School cook appreciation is usually recognized in May, when staff appreciation events cluster, so ordering a few weeks ahead keeps it from getting lost in the rush.
