About this shetland sheepdog gift
Shelties are small herding dogs with a long double coat, a bright, watchful face and a habit of trying to round up everyone in the room, including the mail carrier and the toddler. A Shetland Sheepdog owner tends to be the person who's already in the dog park before anyone else arrives and who knows every dog's name there. A gift that says Shetland Sheepdog lands because it names the breed they've chosen and the dog they share a house with. Add the dog's name on the second line, or the owner's own name, and it reads as theirs rather than a generic breed shirt. Sheltie people often end up in a group of their own, and the Team Shop works well if you're buying for a local breed club or a handful of friends at a show, with one design and each person's name on their own shirt. A mug suits the owner who works from the kitchen table with a sleepy herding dog underfoot.
