Yellow Dot Specifications Writer mug

About this specifications writer gift

A specifications writer, sometimes called a spec writer or technical specifier, spends their days turning engineering intent into the precise written requirements that contractors, manufacturers and project teams build from. They work over drawings, standards and product data sheets, and they are often the person who catches the contradiction nobody else noticed before it turned into a change order. Their work is detailed, careful and rarely seen, which is exactly why a gift with their title on it lands well. A tee for the job site or the office, a hoodie for cold mornings at the drafting table, or a mug that's clearly theirs for the long stretch of writing before a bid deadline all say you noticed what they do. Type their title into the text box, or add their firm or specialty on the second line, and the design becomes a small acknowledgment of a skill most people never think about.
