About this urbandale gift
Urbandale is a suburb just northwest of Des Moines, Iowa, and most people who live there feel a real attachment to a place that's close to the city but still has its own identity. A shirt with Urbandale on it is how someone wears that hometown pride to a high school game, a neighborhood fun run, or a trip back to visit family. Because it's a smaller place than the big cities, a shirt with the name is often a conversation starter, and people who grew up there tend to hold onto that connection long after they've moved away. Add a second line like a graduation year, a street name, or a school mascot if you have one in mind, and the design becomes specific to the person wearing it. For someone who left Urbandale for college or a job elsewhere, a mug or hoodie with the name is a small reminder of where they started.
