About this willow island gift
Willow Island is the kind of place people leave and then keep coming back to, whether it's for summer weekends, a high school reunion or a cousin's wedding. A shirt with the name on it is how a resident or former resident says where they're from without a long explanation. Willow Island people tend to care about the small things: the main street, the lake, the way everyone knows whose truck is parked outside. A gift that names the town feels personal to anyone who grew up there or still calls it home. Add a second line, such as a year they graduated, a street or a nickname the town used for them, and the shirt becomes theirs. For the person who moved away, a mug on the kitchen counter is a daily reminder of home. For a new baby born there, a onesie puts the town's name on their first outfit before they can read it.
