Picking a gift for an audiovisual technician
Audiovisual technicians are the people who make the room work. They run the sound board during a keynote, patch the projector into the lectern, chase a dead wireless mic minutes before the lights go down, and mostly get noticed only when something goes wrong. Long setup days, cable runs, load-ins at odd hours and a lot of standing in dark rooms are part of the job. A gift that acknowledges that work lands better than a generic work shirt. Put the title on the shirt, or a line like A/V Tech or Audiovisual Crew, and add their venue or company name in the second line if you know it. A hoodie is practical for cold venues and early calls, and a mug is a good fit for the tech who lives in the booth with a coffee going cold. If you're buying for a whole crew, one design with each person's name on their own shirt makes a better thank-you than another round of donuts.
Audiovisual Technician gift questions
Can I add my company or venue name to the shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so type the company, venue or production name there. The preview updates so you can check the spacing before you order.
Is there a specific credential I should put on the shirt?
Only if they hold one. If they have a certification, type its name or abbreviation as it appears on their card, so the shirt matches what they've actually earned.
What's a good gift for a new audiovisual tech?
A hoodie or tee with their title and the year they started. It's useful on the job and marks the start of their career in a way that feels personal.
Can I order shirts for a whole AV crew?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste the list of names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the audiovisual technician shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an audiovisual technician gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
