Picking a gift for a background investigator
Background investigators spend their days digging through records, calling references and writing reports that someone else will act on, often with little credit. They work for employers, agencies and clearance offices, and much of the job happens at a desk with a stack of files and a lot of phone calls. A gift that acknowledges the detail work lands well. A soft tee for days in the office, a hoodie for the drive between interviews, or a mug for the long report-writing afternoon all give them something that is theirs. Put the job title on it, or add the year they started or a line about their agency or firm, and it stops being a generic work shirt. If you're buying for a whole team, one design with each person's name printed on their own shirt is an easy way to say thanks for the careful work nobody sees.
Background Investigator gift questions
Can I add a credential or agency name to the shirt?
Yes. Type it into the second line of the text box, either after their name or on its own line. The preview updates so you can check the spacing before ordering.
Is there a specific day to celebrate a background investigator?
There isn't a widely recognized national day for this profession, so a gift works any time of year. Many people give one at a team milestone, a promotion or the end of a busy season.
What if they have a specific certification?
Add the exact title or credential they earned, such as the one printed on their badge or business card. If you're unsure of the exact wording, check with them before ordering.
What sizes do the background investigator shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a background investigator gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
