Picking a gift for a bar captain
A bar captain is the person who keeps the taproom running: they set the pours, settle the arguments about the rotation, and somehow know every regular's usual before they sit down. Most of that work happens on their feet, behind the bar or at the end of a long shift when the stools are finally empty. The gifts that land are the ones that acknowledge that. A soft tee for the drive home after close, a hoodie for the cold walk to the car, or a mug for the one quiet cup of coffee before opening. Put the title on it exactly as the bar uses it, so it reads as theirs and not a generic bartender shirt. If you're buying for the whole staff, one design in the Team Shop with each person's name on their own shirt is a better thank-you than another round of drinks, because it's something they'll wear long after the bar's busy season ends.
Bar Captain gift questions
Can I add the bar's name or my own text to a bar captain design?
Many designs have a second line. Type the bar name, a nickname, or a name there and the live preview will show you how it lines up before you order.
Is bar captain a common title, or does it vary by bar?
The title varies from place to place, and some bars use other names for the same role. If your bar uses a different word, you can type that in as a custom design instead.
What's a good gift for a bar captain who just got promoted?
A hoodie or tee with the title and your own second line works well. It marks the new role and is something they can wear on the shift.
Can I order shirts for my whole bar team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste a list of names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the bar captain shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a bar captain gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
