Gifts from Canisteo
Canisteo is a small village in Steuben County in western New York, and the people who grew up there or moved back for good tend to hold on to it hard. A shirt with the village name is how they claim it at a family reunion, a high school class event, or a summer visit to the lake. It's a place where everybody knows somebody, so a Canisteo shirt starts conversations at the gas station and the post office. For someone who left for college or work and came back, a hoodie for the cold months or a mug for the morning coffee is a quiet way of saying the town still counts. Add a second line for a class year, a street, or a family name and the design becomes theirs. Because the name is short and specific, a Canisteo tee also makes a good gift for relatives who live far away and miss the place.
Canisteo gift questions
Can I add a family name or street to a Canisteo design?
Many designs have a second line. Type a family name, a street, or a year there and the preview updates so you can check the spacing before you order.
Is Canisteo a good gift for someone who moved away?
Often, yes. People who left a small town tend to keep their connection to it, and a shirt, hoodie or mug with the village name gives them something to wear or use that feels like home.
Can I order shirts for a whole class or family group?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste a list of names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the canisteo shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a Canisteo gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
