Picking a gift for a councilman
A councilman spends a lot of evenings in meeting rooms, reading agendas, and hearing from neighbors about potholes, zoning and the park that needs new benches. The people who serve on a city council rarely get thanked in public, so a gift that acknowledges the job, even with a bit of humor, tends to land well. A tee or hoodie is something they can wear to a community cookout or a ribbon cutting, and a mug fits the early coffee before the first council packet arrives. Add the district, the city or the year they took office in the second line if you know it, and the gift stops being generic and starts reflecting the work they've put in. Keep it simple and sincere, and let the design do the talking.
Councilman gift questions
Can I add the city or district name to the design?
Yes. Many designs have a second line for a place or a year. Type the city or district there and the preview will update so you can check the spacing.
Is this a good gift for someone who just took office?
It can be. A new councilman might enjoy a mug or tee marking the year they started, which is a nice way to mark the first term.
Can I order shirts for the whole council or a campaign team?
Yes. The Team Shop lets you choose one design, paste a list of names, and pick a size for each person so everyone gets their own shirt.
What sizes do the councilman shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a councilman gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
