Picking a gift for a director broadcast operations
A broadcast operations director runs the control room that keeps a station or network on the air, juggling master control, playout schedules, switching crews and the constant fire drill of a live feed that can't go dark. They tend to be the calmest person in a room full of alarms, and the gifts they keep are the ones that acknowledge the job without pretending it's glamorous. A dark tee for the long shift in the control room, a hoodie for the cold server floor, or a mug that is clearly theirs so it doesn't disappear into the break room. Put the exact title on it, director broadcast operations, or shorten it to broadcast ops director if that's how the team talks. If you're buying for the whole operations group, one design with each person's name on their own shirt makes a better team gift than another box of donuts. Make it theirs by choosing the wording they'd actually say out loud.
Director Broadcast Operations gift questions
Can I put the full job title on the shirt?
Yes. Type the full title into the text box or split it across two lines. The preview updates so you can check how the wording fits before ordering.
Is there a shorter version of the title I can use?
You can type any wording you like, such as broadcast ops director or ops director. Use whatever the team actually says day to day.
Can I order shirts for my whole operations team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste a list of names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What's a good gift for someone who just got promoted to this role?
A mug or hoodie with their title and the year they took the job marks the moment and gives them something they'll use every shift.
What sizes do the director broadcast operations shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a director broadcast operations gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
