Picking a gift for a director instrumentation
A director of instrumentation usually sits between the process engineers and the technicians who keep the plant running, so their days are full of sensors, control loops, calibration schedules and plenty of meetings about why a valve is reading wrong. Gifts that land with them tend to be practical and a little bit proud of the job. A hoodie for the cold walk through a unit, a tee for the weekend project, or a mug that's clearly theirs for the first coffee before the morning review. The most meaningful version adds their title or their specialty on a second line, so the gift says they know exactly what they do. If you're buying for a whole instrumentation team, the Team Shop prints one design with each person's name, which is a nicer send-off than another round of donuts. Include their site or department if you know it, and check the preview spacing before you order.
Director Instrumentation gift questions
Can I add a specialty or site name under the title?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can type a specialty, a site or a department there and check the preview before ordering.
Is director instrumentation a title with an official certification?
Titles vary by company, so the best approach is to use the exact title they hold. If they have a professional credential, add it as their credential line.
What's a good gift for someone who just got promoted to this role?
A mug or hoodie with their new title marks the move well. It's practical, personal, and something they'll use in their first months in the job.
Can I order for a whole instrumentation group?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste the list of names, and pick a size for each person. Every shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the director instrumentation shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a director instrumentation gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
