Picking a gift for a director placement
A director of placement usually sits between students or graduates and the employers who want them, which means the job is full of phone calls, interview prep sessions, career fairs and a steady stream of people who need a yes. Many of them work through the busy spring and fall recruiting seasons, and they often carry the weight of a whole class's job search on their shoulders. A gift that says they're the person who makes placements happen tends to land well, especially when it's something they'll actually use at a desk or at a career fair table. Put their title on the shirt or mug, or add their institution or department on the second line so it's clearly theirs. For a hoodie, a cold office or a long drive to a campus visit is an easy fit. It's a quieter kind of job than most people realize, and a small, personal gift shows you noticed.
Director Placement gift questions
Can I add the name of the college or department?
Yes. Most designs have a second line, so you can type your school, office or department there and check the preview before ordering.
Are there designs for kids or babies with this title?
There are a few kids tees and a baby onesie for this word. They're a fun option if the director has a young family, but the adult tees and hoodies are the most common choice.
What's a good gift for someone who just finished a big recruiting season?
A mug or tee with their title and a line for the year is a simple way to mark the end of a busy cycle without anything overly sentimental.
Can I order for the whole placement office at once?
Yes. Pick one design in the Team Shop, paste the list of names, and choose a size for each person. Every shirt prints with the name of the person who will wear it.
What sizes do the director placement shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a director placement gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
