Picking a gift for a director residency
A residency director is the person who keeps a training program running: scheduling rotations, sitting in on evaluations, fielding calls from residents who are exhausted and from attendings who want something done yesterday. Most of the work happens behind the scenes, and the gifts that land tend to acknowledge that. A soft tee they can wear to clinic on a long day, a hoodie for the cold early mornings, or a mug for the office coffee that gets reheated three times before it's finished. Adding the program name or specialty on a second line makes the gift theirs rather than generic. If you're buying for someone who leads a whole program, the Team Shop lets you order one design with each coordinator's or faculty member's name, which is a nice way to thank the people who keep the program going. Program anniversaries and the end of an academic year are natural times to give something.
Director Residency gift questions
Can I add a program name or specialty to the shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so type the program or specialty there and check the preview before you order.
Can I order shirts for a whole residency team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste a list of names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
Is there a gift for a new program director?
A mug or tee with their name and the title is a simple way to mark the new role. A hoodie works well for a director who spends winter mornings on campus.
What sizes do the director residency shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a director residency gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
