Picking a gift for a director
Director covers a lot of ground. It might be a film or theater director running a set, a school choir director, a nonprofit's executive director, or a funeral director, and each one has a different kind of day. What they share is that they're the person everyone looks to when something needs deciding, and they rarely get thanked for the hours nobody sees. A gift for a director works best when it fits the actual job. Type the word as it appears on their door, then add what they direct: Theater, Choir, Marching Band, Camp, Development. Add their name or a season or year, and a plain tee becomes theirs. A hoodie suits the drafty rehearsal room or a long night in the edit bay, and a mug suits the desk where the real work happens. If you're thanking a director on behalf of a cast, a crew or a staff, one shared design with each person's name on their own shirt says more than a card ever will.
Director gift questions
Can I change Director to a more specific title?
Yes. Type any title into the text box, such as Choir Director, Executive Director or Film Director. The preview updates as you type, so you can check it fits before you order.
What's a good gift for a school band or choir director?
A hoodie or mug with their name and the program, like Marching Band or Concert Choir. Students and parents can also chip in for matching shirts through the Team Shop.
Can I add a production name or year?
Many designs have a second line you can use for a show title, a season or a year. Open any design and type it in to see how it looks.
Can the whole cast get matching shirts for their director?
Yes. In the Team Shop, pick one design, paste a list of names, and choose a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the director shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a director gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
