Gifts for people into hang gliding
A hang glider spends the best part of a day in the air watching the world fall away below, then spends the rest of the week telling anyone who will listen about it. Many of the people who fly are hooked on the wind, the quiet and the long slow turns over a hillside, and they tend to gather at the same few launch sites with the same battered wings. A hang gliding shirt is how they're recognized at the field and how they start the conversation with a stranger in the parking lot. Add a second line with the site they fly most, the year they soloed, or a nickname from the club, and the gift becomes about their flying rather than a generic sport. Hoodies suit the cold launch mornings, and a mug works for the early coffee before the wind picks up. Hang gliding is also a sport where the people who care most tend to be the ones who help you learn, so a shirt that names their hobby is a small thank-you for the years they spent teaching others.
Hang Gliding gift questions
Can I add a launch site or a flying nickname to the design?
Yes. Many designs have a second line for a name, a place or a year. Type it in and the preview updates so you can check it before ordering.
What's a good gift for someone who just got their hang gliding license?
A tee or hoodie with the year they passed their checkout is a good choice. It marks the milestone and it's something they'll wear to the field for years.
Can I order shirts for a whole hang gliding club?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: pick one design, paste the list of names and choose a size for each person. Every shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the hang gliding shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a hang gliding gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
