Picking a gift for a lab assistant
Lab assistants keep the work moving: they prep samples, calibrate equipment, log results and make sure the bench is stocked before the scientists walk in. It's a job that gets less credit than it deserves, and a gift that acknowledges the actual work lands well. A tee or hoodie with lab assistant on it is a nice start, but the detail that makes it theirs is the lab itself. Add their department, the institution they work for, or the year they started, if that's something they'd want on the shirt. Lab coats are often in the closet at work, so a hoodie or tee for the commute or the weekend is more likely to get worn. A mug works well for the bench, where coffee and stained glassware tend to share space. If you're buying for a whole lab team, the Team Shop lets you order one design with each person's name on their own shirt.
Lab Assistant gift questions
Can I add my lab assistant's name or department to the design?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can type a name, a lab, a department or a year there. The preview updates before you order.
Is there a lab assistant design for kids?
There are kids tees and dark kids tees with lab assistant designs. They're useful if a family member is studying toward the job and wants to show it.
What's a good gift for a new lab assistant?
A hoodie or mug with their name and the start year is a nice way to mark the new job. It's something they'll use daily and it shows you noticed the milestone.
Can I order for a whole lab at once?
Yes. The Team Shop prints one design for a group. You paste the list of names and pick a size for each person.
What sizes do the lab assistant shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a lab assistant gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
