Gifts for people into model trains
A model train hobbyist usually has a layout somewhere in the house, a basement or garage where the trains run in loops and the scenery is built piece by piece over years. They know the difference between HO and N scale, they've probably spent a weekend on ballast and weathering, and they'll happily explain a turnout to anyone who stands still long enough. A gift that shows you understand that world tends to land well. A tee with Model Trains on the front and a scale or railroad name on the second line reads as a fan's shirt rather than a generic one. A hoodie is good for the chilly basement workbench, and a mug is the one they'll reach for during a long session of track laying. Pick the word that matches how they talk about the hobby, and the shirt becomes something they'll actually wear around the layout.
Model Trains gift questions
Can I add a scale or railroad name to a model trains shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line for a scale such as HO or N, or the name of a railroad they model. Type it in and the preview will show you how it looks.
What's a good gift for someone who just started the hobby?
A mug or tee with Model Trains is a nice welcome gift. It's useful on a build day and shows you're interested in what they're working on.
Are there designs for kids who like model trains?
Yes. Kids tees and dark kids tees come in several designs, so you can match the shirt to a young train fan.
What sizes do the model trains shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a model trains gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
