Gifts from Oriental
Oriental is a word that a lot of people now hear as dated or loaded, and it's worth knowing that before you order anything with it. Some people use it for a specific place name, a town or a neighborhood with that name, and in that case a shirt can read as a plain hometown tribute. Others will read it as a label for people, which is often not what people mean by the place, so the safest move is to check what the word means to the person you're buying for. If they already use the name for their town or their part of the world, a tee or mug with it can work, and a second line with the year they moved or the street they grew up on makes it feel personal. If you're unsure how they feel about the word, a design with a different city or neighborhood they actually love will land better than a guess.
Oriental gift questions
Is Oriental a good word to put on a gift?
It depends on how the person uses it. For a place they call home, it can be a fine personal gift. Since many people now find the word dated when it's used for people, check with the recipient first if you're not sure how they feel about it.
Can I add a second line to these designs?
Many designs have a second line for a year, street or neighborhood. Type it into the text box and the preview will update so you can check it before you order.
What if I'm not sure the word fits the person?
Choose a place they actually love and name it instead. A hometown, a neighborhood or a city they've lived in will usually mean more than a word you're second-guessing.
What sizes do the oriental shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an Oriental gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
