Gifts for people into papercutting
Papercutting is the kind of hobby where someone spends an evening with a craft knife, a cutting mat and a stack of paper, and comes out with lace that looks almost impossible. Whether they do Chinese jianzhi, Mexican papel picado, or their own intricate silhouettes, they tend to measure their evenings in blades worn down and small cuts on their thumbs. A shirt or mug with the word on it is a quiet nod to that patience. Papercutting people often work at a desk or a table, so a mug on their workspace gets used daily, and a hoodie is good for cold studio afternoons. If you want it to feel more like theirs, add the style they practice or the name of their studio in the second line, and the design stops being generic and starts looking like something they'd actually make.
Papercutting gift questions
Can I add the style of papercutting they practice?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can type a style like silhouette, jianzhi or papel picado under the main word.
Is papercutting a good gift for a beginner?
It can be. A mug or tee is a light, friendly way to recognize someone starting out, and it's a small reminder that they're part of a craft with a long history.
Can I get a design for a papercutting group or class?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: pick one design, paste the names of everyone in the group, and choose a size for each person.
What sizes do the papercutting shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a papercutting gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
