Gifts for people into pottery
Potters live with clay under their fingernails and a shelf of wonky first attempts they refuse to throw out. If you're buying for one, you already know the hobby takes over a corner of the house, whether that's a garage wheel, a community studio membership, or a Saturday class they never miss. The best gifts for them are the things they can wear to the studio without worrying. A tee or hoodie that's about to get splattered with slip is a compliment, not a risk. Add a name, a studio name, or a line like Wheel Thrown, Hand Built or Kiln Whisperer, and it reads as theirs rather than a generic pottery shirt. Mugs are the natural fit, since so many potters drink out of something they made themselves and love hearing that someone else gets the joke. For a ceramics class or a pottery night with friends, you can order one design for everyone in the group.
Pottery gift questions
Can I put a studio name or a technique on a pottery shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line where you can type a studio name, a technique like Hand Built, or a year. The live preview shows exactly how it will look before you order.
What's a good gift for someone just starting pottery?
A tee or mug with their name on it works well, since it makes the new hobby feel real. Add the year they started if you want it to be a keepsake they look back on.
Are there pottery designs for kids?
Yes. There are kids tees in both light and dark colors, which suit kids' art classes and birthday parties where everyone gets messy with clay.
Can I order matching pottery shirts for a class?
Yes. In the Team Shop, choose one design, paste the list of names and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the pottery shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a pottery gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
