Picking a gift for a rec therapist
Recreation therapists spend their days building programs that get people moving, talking and doing things they care about again, whether that's a group in a rehab unit, a senior center activity or a session with a teen after an injury. The job is hands-on and often loud, with a lot of planning behind every game or craft. A gift that acknowledges that work tends to land well. A tee for their drive to the facility, a hoodie for the chilly activity room, or a mug for the morning planning session all show you know what the role involves. Add the word therapist, or their specialty if you know it, and it becomes a personal piece rather than a generic one. If you're buying for a whole department, one design in the Team Shop with each person's name lets everyone wear the same shirt, which is a nice way to say thanks to the people who keep the activities running.
Rec Therapist gift questions
Can I add a specialty or credential to the shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can type a credential such as CTRS if they hold it, or a setting like pediatrics or geriatrics. The preview updates so you can check the spacing before ordering.
Is there a kids option for a rec therapist?
There are kids tees in light and dark, which could suit a child who wants to dress like the parent who helps people get active. Use the product filter to see which designs are available.
What's a good gift for a new recreation therapist?
A tee or hoodie with their name and the word therapist marks the start of the job. It's practical for the first months of long shifts and shows you noticed the milestone.
What sizes do the rec therapist shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a rec therapist gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
