Picking a gift for a scientific advisor
A scientific advisor spends their days translating between the lab and the people who have to make decisions, often in meetings where they're the only one who read the full study. They tend to work in government agencies, companies, nonprofits and universities, and they're usually on the road more than they'd like. A gift that acknowledges that mix of rigor and patience tends to land best. A tee or hoodie they can wear to a long review session, or a mug for the morning coffee that gets cold while they're reading a draft, speaks to the actual rhythm of the job. Ask what field they advise in, since a climate advisor and a public health advisor have very different days. If you're not sure, a simple shirt with their title keeps things safe and still feels like it's for them. Put their name on it, and the gift becomes a small, quiet acknowledgment of work most people never see.
Scientific Advisor gift questions
Can I add a field of science to the shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can add a field such as climate, public health or biology under the title.
Is this a good gift for someone starting a new advisory role?
It can be. A mug or tee with their new title marks the step up, and it's something they'll keep using through the first year in the role.
Can I put a credential like PhD on the design?
Yes, type it into the text box on its own line or after their name. The preview shows how it sits before you order.
Are there designs for kids who want to be scientists?
Yes. There are kids tees and dark kids tees for the young scientist in your life, and they can be personalized with a name.
What sizes do the scientific advisor shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a scientific advisor gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
