Spiny Dogfish gifts for the people who love them
A spiny dogfish is a small shark, one of the most common ones along the North Atlantic coast, and it's the kind of animal that takes a little explaining at a party. Shoppers buying for an ocean lover, a fisheries student, or someone who has a spiny dogfish stuck to their bait will find the name itself is the joke. The gifts that land best lean into the specificity: the odd name, the spines on the back, the fact that this is a shark most people have never heard of. Use the second line for a detail that matters to them, like the state they fish in, the year they started diving, or a nickname. A shirt printed with a species name they've probably had to spell out a dozen times reads as a private joke between you and them, which is exactly what a gift like this should be.
Spiny Dogfish gift questions
What kind of animal is a spiny dogfish?
It's a small shark found in the North Atlantic and some other cold and temperate oceans. It's named for the sharp spines in front of its dorsal fins. Many people only know it from fishing or marine science.
Can I add a name or detail to a spiny dogfish design?
Many designs have a second line. Type a name, a year, a location or a nickname there, and the preview will update so you can see how it looks.
Is a spiny dogfish a good gift for a kid who loves sharks?
It can be. There are kids tees and a baby onesie design for this word, so you can match the shirt to the child's age and interests.
What sizes do the spiny dogfish shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a spiny dogfish gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
