Picking a gift for a summer intern
A summer intern is usually a student or recent grad spending a few months learning how a real workplace runs, often in an office, a lab, a newsroom or a shop floor, and hoping to be remembered when the internship ends. They're used to lanyards, early meetings and a lot of new names, and they tend to be proud of the first real job on their resume. A gift that marks the stint, rather than a generic office item, lands well. A tee or hoodie with SUMMER INTERN and the year gives them something to wear on the last day and to keep as proof they did it. For a student who's headed back to school in the fall, a mug is a small daily reminder of the work they did over the summer. If you're buying for a whole intern class, one design with each person's name on their own shirt makes a nice farewell from the team.
Summer Intern gift questions
Can I add the company name or the year to a summer intern shirt?
Many designs have a second line for a year or a name. Type it into the text box and the preview will show you how it fits before you order.
Is a summer intern shirt a good gift for a student?
Yes. A tee or hoodie with their title and summer is something they can wear to campus or keep as a memory of their first real work experience.
Can I order for a whole group of interns at once?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste the list of names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the summer intern shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a summer intern gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
