Picking a gift for a wait staff
Wait staff spend their shifts on their feet, carrying trays, remembering orders and smiling through the slow Tuesday and the packed Friday alike. The gifts they keep tend to be the ones that make the off hours easier: a soft tee for the drive home, a hoodie for the cold walk to the car after close, a mug that's clearly theirs so it doesn't disappear into the kitchen. Servers and bartenders also know the value of a little recognition from the people who see the hard part of the job. Put their name on the design, and if they work at a particular restaurant or bar, add that place on a second line. It turns a generic work shirt into something they'll actually wear on their day off. A mug or hoodie is a good pick for a coworker who covers shifts for you, and a tee works well for a friend who's been carrying the family's dinner plans through a rough season.
Wait Staff gift questions
Can I add the restaurant name to a wait staff shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so type the restaurant or bar name there and the preview will show you how it sits under the main word.
Is there a wait staff design for kids?
Kids tees come in a smaller set of designs. Use the product filter to see which ones are available for the word wait staff.
Can I order shirts for my whole restaurant team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste the list of names, and pick a size for each person so every shirt prints with its own name.
What's a good gift for a server who's just starting out?
A mug or tee with their name is a light, personal gift that acknowledges the hard first months of the job without feeling like a joke about the work.
What sizes do the wait staff shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a wait staff gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
