About this redwood gift
Redwood is a word that means different things to different people. Redwood City, California sits on the peninsula south of San Francisco, and plenty of people grew up there and still call it home. For a shopper, the first step is to figure out which Redwood they mean and whether the gift is for someone who lives there now, someone who grew up there, or someone who just loves the name and the trees behind it. A tee or hoodie with Redwood on it works well for a local heading out on a weekend hike or a transplant who misses the Bay Area. A mug suits the one who works from home and wants something that feels like their own place. To make it theirs, use the second line for a neighborhood, a school, or the year they moved away. That small detail turns a city name into a memory they can wear.
