About this election watcher gift
Election watchers spend long hours at polling sites, checking in observers, logging questions and sitting through quiet stretches that can suddenly get busy. They're volunteers and workers who show up early and stay late, often on a single day of the year that matters a lot to them. A gift for someone in this role should acknowledge that commitment without getting political. A plain, comfortable shirt for the long day is useful, since they're on their feet and may be outside in the morning. A hoodie covers the cold hours before sunrise, and a mug is the one they'll reach for during the lull between voters. To make it theirs, add their name and the county or precinct they worked, or the year of the election. That turns a generic election shirt into a record of the work they did. Check that the wording matches the role they actually filled, since watchers, poll workers and observers have different jobs.
