About this cat scan tech gift
A CT tech spends the day positioning patients on a narrow table, starting scans on a console, and keeping anxious people calm while the gantry hums around them. Most of that work happens in a dim room, often on overnight or weekend shifts, and it rarely gets much recognition outside the department. A gift that shows you know what the job involves tends to land well. A soft tee for the drive home after a long shift, a hoodie for the chilly reading room, or a mug that's clearly theirs so it doesn't wander off to the nurses' station. Put the words cat scan tech on the front, and add the hospital unit, their name, or the credential they earned, such as ARRT or their state license, if it applies. Then it stops being a generic work shirt and becomes theirs. Graduation from a radiologic technology program is a natural occasion, and so is a new job, or Radiologic Technology Week, which is held in November.
