About this programming manager gift
A programming manager usually started out writing code, then got pulled into standups, roadmaps and the hard conversations about who ships what and when. They spend a lot of the day translating between engineers and everyone else, and they're often the one who gets the late-night call when a release breaks. A gift that acknowledges the title, and the years of coding that earned it, tends to land well. A tee or hoodie with their title on it works for the office, the weekend, or a team offsite. A mug is the everyday one, since most managers spend more hours with coffee than with almost anything else. If you're buying for a whole engineering group, the Team Shop lets you put each person's name on their own shirt from one design. Adding a line like their team name or the year they took the role makes it theirs.
All programming manager gifts →- A tee for the weekendA programming manager who still writes code on Saturdays will get more use from a soft tee than from anything formal.
