About this tahltan bear dog gift
The Tahltan Bear Dog is a rare, working breed from northwestern British Columbia, developed by the Tahltan people for hunting bear and moose and for companionship on the trail. Owners tend to be hunters, trappers and hikers who value a dog with real instinct and a steady temperament. A shirt or hoodie with the breed name works well for the outdoors person who spends long days with their dog, and a mug suits the kitchen where the dog waits by the door. The more personal touch is the second line: a dog's name, a year you got them, or a trail or town you two know well. That turns a breed shirt into a gift that is clearly about their dog.
All tahltan bear dog gifts →- A tee with their dog's nameUse the second line for the dog's name so the shirt is about their own companion.
- A hoodie for cold-weather walksAn 8 hoodie design keeps them warm on the early trail runs the breed loves.
- A mug for the trail-morning coffeeThe 11oz mug is a quiet nod to the breed for the owner who starts every day with their dog.
- A kids tee for a young handlerIf the family's child helps with the dog, a kids design lets them match the Bear Dog.
