About this calamus gift
Calamus is a small town, and the people who call it home usually have a strong attachment to it. A shirt or mug with Calamus on it is a way for a former resident or a current one to carry their hometown with them, whether that means a regular tee for errands and weekends or a hoodie for the cold months. Because the name is distinctive, a Calamus design tends to start conversations: people ask where it is, and the person wearing it gets to tell the story. For someone who has moved away, a Calamus mug on the kitchen counter is a small daily reminder of where they started. Many of the designs have a second line, so you can add a year, a street, a nickname or a family name to make the gift feel specific to the person you're shopping for. Since the store offers tees in light and dark, kids sizes, baby onesies, hoodies and mugs, you can build a set that covers the whole family.
