About this unit leader gift
A unit leader runs a group that has to function as one, whether that's a squad, a platoon, a shift, a scout troop, or a team of people who answer to them every day. The job means knowing everyone's name, keeping track of schedules and handoffs, and absorbing the pressure from above so the people below can get their work done. Many unit leaders get very little thanks for that, and a gift that names the role says you've noticed. A shirt with their title on the front and their unit or group name on the second line makes it theirs. A hoodie suits the early mornings and cold briefings, and a mug on the desk is the daily reminder that someone appreciated the effort. If you're buying for the whole group, the Team Shop lets you order one design with each person's name on their own shirt, which tends to land better than a card passed around the office.
