About this vergennes gift
Vergennes is a small city in Addison County, Vermont, and people who grew up there tend to hold onto it. Its historic downtown along the Otter Creek, its old stone buildings and its small-town feel are the kind of things that make a local want a shirt that says where they're from. Vergennes is also a city where neighbors know each other, so a gift that carries the name often lands well with someone who has moved away and misses home. Think about who the recipient is: a longtime resident, a graduate heading off to college, or someone who relocated and still introduces themselves by their hometown. A simple Vergennes tee or mug works for the first two. For the transplant, add a line that marks when they lived there, like a class year or the year they moved, and the design starts to feel personal.
