About this waxahachie gift
Waxahachie is a small city south of Dallas in Ellis County, Texas, and people who grew up there tend to stay proud of it. A shirt with the city name is how a former resident wears their hometown on a trip out of state, or how a current one shows up for the high school football game, the county fair or a summer afternoon at the town square. The name itself is a conversation starter, and most people outside Texas will ask how to say it. A Waxahachie shirt works for the family who moved away and still tells people where they're from, and for the new resident who has just settled in and wants to belong. Add a second line with a graduating class, a street or a family name to make it personal. For someone who's far from home, a mug with the city name is the daily reminder of where they came from.
