About this counter clerk gift
A counter clerk is the person at the front of the house: the one who greets people at the window, runs the register, bags the orders and smooths things over when a customer is having a bad day. The job is steady and often underappreciated, and the people who do it tend to be the reliable ones on the team. A gift that acknowledges the counter, not just a generic work tee, tends to land well. Put their title on a shirt they can wear for a shift, or on a mug for the break room where they finally get a few quiet minutes. Add their store or department name in the second line if you know it, or their first name if you'd rather keep it personal. For a clerk who has been at the counter for years, a hoodie is a good cold-weather pick for the stockroom or the early opening shift, and a mug works well for the coworker who always makes the coffee run.
